Uncle Paul’s Daily Rant for 01/31/2017

Has it only been 10 days?  OMG!

 

Good Day, Mishpocheh, I offer you Shalom Aleichem, and to my Muslim spiritual cousins and friends currently under siege, I offer you as-Salaamu Aleikum wa-Barakatuhu wa-Rahmaatulahi.  (Peace be to you and may G-d Bless You and be merciful to you)

So now we find ourselves, in a situation not unlike the post-Versailles run-up to the 3rd Reich… Big difference is that we don’t have an admittedly punitive peace treaty to use as justification.  What we have is a disturbingly large number of people that see the overwhelming influence they’ve held for decades, if not centuries, being diminished a bit, and by that, they are terrified.

Witness the latest Travel Ban on citizens from a select number of  countries, none of which have sent terrorists to our land… and none of the ones in which the current occupant of the West Wing has business interests are on that list.

I’ll remind all that the 9/11 attacks were conducted by those, in the main, from the Wahhabi Kingdom of Saudi Arabia… Nope… they’re not on the list.

Then, there’s the interesting case of Dubai.

 

Digest that for a moment, and I’ll wait.

In case anyone doesn’t remember, the DeVos family are the founders and board of AmWay… so take that as it is.

Now, what’s interesting to me is that Ms. DeVos’ brother is Erik Prince, the founder and CEO of Blackwater/Xi/Academi/whateverthehell they’re called now…The company is based in Dubai, in the same country in which Mr. Trump has serious real-estate holdings.

And there are more… many more.

Yet, even Jewish and Christian families, as well as many Muslims, are being turned back to the fire from the frying pan, to what end?

Then, there is the matter of Mr. Steve Bannon, co-founder of Breitbart, who proudly states he is the foremost proponent of the alt.right phenomenon.

This is the same man, who is apparently Mr. Trump’s Rasputin who said:

“I’m a Leninist.” “Lenin,” he answered, “wanted to destroy the state, and that’s my goal too. I want to bring everything crashing down, and destroy all of today’s establishment.” Bannon includes in that his desire to bring down the whole Washington establishment, both parties, and Western liberal, secular governments.

Yet there are still those who insist on prancing around in their (Flag Code violation) US Flag shirts, thereby gaining lots of kudos and attaboys from their “friends,” and singing Kumbayah and “why can’t we all get along,” and insist on their hypocrisy and double-standards and will follow the Orange Julius Caesar to the gates of hell, as they are obviously terrified of the narrative they’ve built in their heads being observed as the abject bullshit it truly is.

To my friends of goodwill, as well as my opponents, also of good will, I wish you peace, and a good day, as much as you will allow yourselves… and I wish the same to myself.
